Taking the Red Pill – _TNY_9372

This looks a lot like the lily beetle (Lilioceris lilii), but is actually the closely related Lilioceris merdigera which primarily don’t go after your lilies, but instead prefer eating up your onions, garlic and in the case here, chives.

Visually you see the difference in that these guys have a red head and legs where the lily beetle has black ones.
